Ragasudha, a young and vibrant musician started her music tutelage at a tender age of 5. She then trained under Vidwan 'Dasalakshmi' Dr. B. Umashankar for 10 years. Currently she is undergoing training in advanced level from Dr. Bhairavi Narayanan & Dr. N.S.Lakshmy.
Along with a Diploma in Music (UICIC) & Masters in Music from University of Madras,she also has a M.Phil in music from Tamil University to her credit.
Ragasudha is passionate about learning and sharing the vast treasure of carnatic music. She has been teaching for the past 10 yrs at various schools and institutes which is testimony to her penchant for teaching and her devotion to carnatic music.
Performances
Performed musical concerts at Nada Rupini KalaKendra at Kamarajapuram. Have also given group musical concerts with other music students of her Guru:
- At Raj TV for their musical feature called ‘Margazhi’
- Performed up to 2 rounds in Sankara TV’s Bhajan Samraat Senior Competition in 2014.
- Participated in group pancharathna programs at Sree Kanchipuram Mutt, Nanganallur Ranjani Sabha, Sree Papanasam Sivan Karnataka Sangeetha Sabha at Madipakkam, Sree Thiruvarur Sivan Temple, Veda Vyasa Tapovanam.
-Regularly performs at temple concerts.
