Sufi Songs

Sufi music is the devotional music of the Sufis. Sufi love songs are often performed as ghazals and Kafi, a solo genre accompanied by percussion and harmonium, using a repertoire of songs by Sufi poets. Inspired by the works of Sufi poets, like Rumi, Hafiz, Bulleh Shah, Amir Khusrow and Khwaja Ghulam Farid, we have compiled a few of the songs in this module.

Prerequisites:

Age : Minimum of  10 years

Number of  sessions : 8

Duration: 45 mins

Class type : Both  Individual and group  

Prior experience: Basic music knowledge or beginners.

3. Tu Mane ya na- R P Deewana -Devotional song
4. Nit Khair Manga-Badar Ali Ansari -Romance
