Kavitha Jayaraman is an acclaimed Carnatic vocalist and Veena exponent, representing a prestigious four-generation musical lineage. With over 300 international performances at venues like Singapore’s Esplanade and Chennai’s Music Academy, she has earned global recognition, including five Global Music Awards Silver Medals and honors from the Cannes World Film Festival for her albums Varnams Reimagined and The Unbound Verse. Her solo track, “Rara Rajeeva Lochana,” is on Rolling Stone India’s ‘Top 10’ playlist. She is a 5-time Global Music Awards winner, and her recent album ‘The Unbound Verse’ has become an instant hit, earning rave reviews and dominating the airwaves. The album also picked up top honors at the World Entertainment Awards LA and Jaipur International Film Festival India. A pioneer in the modern landscape, Kavitha holds a Master’s in Music Business from Berklee College of Music and is a voting member of the Recording Academy (Grammys).
